A Pissed Off Brother

The thing about life is that at certain point, it gets interesting and worth writing about. And today was one of those moments.

I can't remember when I woke up but it was sure later than 11 am. I got a call from the parents asking me what I want for lunch. Ok, let's pause for a while:

1. I just woke up
2. This is the chance for me to try the 'brunch' thing (hahaha, it's a combo of breakfast and lunch. Introduced to me by Grace and I later discovered that it was a pretty common thing.)

Breakfast + Lunch = Brunch

Doesn't make sense right? How Breakfast can only be represented by two alphabets,'br', which is a mere 22.2% of the word while lunch is represented by 'unch' which is whopping 80% of the word. Some people should argue on this.

In the evening I tried driving the car. Although I have myself a driver's license I don't drive that often. Hahaha, ok... I'm lying. I don't drive at all. Happy, Mel? (I don't think you're reading this though =P, which is why I like this place so much :) ). I drive like less than once a month. And that's only when my parents are sleepy on the high-way. Driving on the high-way is a pleasure. Because I can listen to good music while driving. And I find it very relaxing unlike driving on the roads of Penang.

Anyway, about this evening; it was great. Until I let my brother drove the car and hahaha, two cars almost hit our car in the same minute. Fuck. Pure fuckedness was what I felt. Haha ok, naah, I didn't feel that. It felt more like: "hahahhaha, you know, if that car hit you from behind, it would be their fault and not yours? But since you don't have a license so it's pretty much yours."

Enough about that lame part of the day here comes the more interesting part. (I think...) My brother goes to this tuition center where he learns stuff which he should be learning at school. The center is quite near to my house so he could like walk back home in 30 minutes time. But meh... most of us are lazy assholes so we would prefer someone to drive us home. A parent for an example. So after 8pm, little good brother of mine waited. Here's an inaccurate but good enough re-enactment of what I think happened:

Hahhahha! But hey, you can't just listen to one side of the story without listening to my part of the story. You see, I was listening to music in my room. I can't possibly listen to the doorbell. It's just physically impossible. Our simple rules of Physics prevented me from listening to the sound of the doorbell. And I was completely unaware that my brother goes to tuition that time. So it went pretty much like this:

My Mum called around 8.40pm;
Amir's mum: Hey, is Farid back?
Amir: No... Don't think so.

Then around 15 minutes later;
Amir's mum: Amir, I'm serious. Is he back? I'm at his tuition centre. He's not here.
Amir: Errmm.. I'll scream his name. FARID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nope, don't think he's here.

Then around 20 minutes later, my dad called;

Amir's dad: Hey Amir, is Farid back already???
Amir: No...! I don't have a clue!
Amir's dad: Try check at the door. I'm worried, just check just in case he's there.
Amir: Ok, sure.

Then, Hahaha, I saw him there, angry and pissed. He even told me that he met a friend (probably handphone-less) who gave him 20 cent to make a call. HAHHAHAHHAH!! And he was so pissed that he threw the coin on the floor because he can't even find a phone booth.

AHHAHAHAHHAHA!!!

p/s: Noooo.... We don't talk like this. We talk more human-like. Typical Malay family kind of way.

Haha! he told me his 'hati tercalar'. HAHAHA! I really wished my brother had gotten the idea of going around the house and threw a small rock at the windows of my room.
